Why this works well
- Direct server-side move or copy — skip the download-then-reupload round trip entirely
- pCloud's lifetime-plan storage is a common landing spot for a personal archive — move files in without eating your own bandwidth doing it
- Live progress for the whole batch in one activity feed, with a notification when it's done
How to do it
- Connect Dropbox and pCloud (OAuth for both).
- Open Transfer and browse your Dropbox files.
- Select what to move, choose pCloud as the destination, and pick copy or move.
- Watch progress live; get notified the moment it finishes.
FAQ
Do you keep a copy of my Dropbox files?
No durable copy. Bytes stream Dropbox → worker → pCloud for the duration of the job only.
Can I move instead of copy?
Yes — move deletes the source file from Dropbox after a verified successful upload to pCloud.
Does a failed transfer use my quota?
No. Only successfully completed transfers count toward your monthly bandwidth.
