Save a URL to Wasabi

Paste a public HTTP(S) link and SaveToDrives fetches it server-side, straight into your Wasabi bucket. No local download step to script around. Wasabi's flat-rate pricing has no egress or API request fees — a straightforward alternative to typical S3 pricing.

How to do it

  1. Connect your Wasabi bucket (access key, secret key, endpoint, bucket name).
  2. Paste the public file URL into a new remote upload.
  3. Pick your Wasabi bucket as the destination, set a key prefix if you want one.
  4. Start the job — watch live progress and get notified when it lands.

FAQ

Can I use this from an automation tool or script?

Today it's driven from the app UI. If you need this triggered programmatically, that's on the roadmap — not available yet.

What if the source URL requires authentication?

You can attach Basic Auth or custom headers to the request if the source needs them.

Do you store my bucket credentials in plaintext?

No — encrypted at rest, same as every connected provider's credentials.
