Back up Google Drive to Backblaze B2

This isn't a one-time migration — it's a recurring backup pattern. Run it on whatever schedule you like to keep a second, independent copy of your Google Drive files in Backblaze B2's low-cost object storage, without a laptop staying on overnight.

うまく機能する理由

  • Keep both copies — this is copy, not move, so your Google Drive files stay exactly where they are
  • B2 is inexpensive, durable storage built for exactly this — a second copy you don't touch day to day
  • Run it again anytime — there's no continuous sync yet, so re-run the job on whatever cadence fits your backup routine

手順

  1. Connect Google Drive and add your Backblaze B2 bucket.
  2. Select the folders or files you want protected.
  3. Choose your B2 bucket as the destination and start the copy.
  4. Confirm completion in your feed, or via notifications.

FAQ

Is this continuous, automatic backup?

Not yet — you run it on demand or queue it manually. Scheduled/recurring sync is on the roadmap.

Does this delete anything from Google Drive?

No. This is a copy — your Google Drive files are untouched. If you want to move (and delete the source), use our plain transfer page instead.

Can I back up into a specific bucket or folder?

Yes — pick the bucket when you connect B2, then set a destination path when you start the job.
