Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs entirely in the browser and on our servers — no desktop app, no browser extension.

Is there a file size limit?

Limits depend on your plan's monthly bandwidth allowance, not a single-file cap — check your plan for specifics.

If you choose copy, nothing changes in Dropbox. If you choose move, the source file is deleted only after Google Drive confirms the upload succeeded.

Create a free account
Head to the sign-up page and create an account with your email. No credit card is required for the free tier, which includes 5 GB of monthly transfer.
If you already have an account, skip ahead and just connect the two providers.
Connect Dropbox
From your dashboard, go to Connections and add Dropbox. You'll be sent to Dropbox's own sign-in and consent screen — SaveToDrives never sees or stores your Dropbox password, only an OAuth token that can be revoked at any time.
Connect Google Drive
Repeat the same process for Google Drive: add the connection, sign in on Google's own page, and approve access.
Start a transfer
Open Transfer, browse your Dropbox files, and select what you want to move — a single file, a folder, or a large multi-file batch. Choose Google Drive as the destination.
Choose copy or move
Copy leaves the original in Dropbox untouched. Move deletes it from Dropbox, but only after Google Drive has confirmed a complete, verified upload.
If you're not sure, pick copy. You can always delete the Dropbox copy yourself later once you've confirmed everything landed correctly.
