Warum das gut funktioniert
- Keep both copies — this is copy, not move, so your Dropbox files stay exactly where they are
- Your own bucket, your own retention and versioning rules
- Run it again anytime — there's no continuous sync yet, so re-run the job on whatever cadence fits your routine
So geht's
- Connect Dropbox and add your AWS S3 bucket.
- Select the folders or files you want protected.
- Choose your S3 bucket as the destination and start the copy.
- Confirm completion in your feed, or via notifications.
FAQ
Is this continuous, automatic backup?
Not yet — you run it on demand or queue it manually. Scheduled/recurring sync is on the roadmap.
Does this delete anything from Dropbox?
No. This is a copy — your Dropbox files are untouched. If you want to move (and delete the source), use our plain transfer page instead.
Can I back up into a specific bucket or prefix?
Yes — pick the bucket when you connect S3, then set a destination path when you start the job.
